Analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design relies on high-quality SPICE models of electronic devices. While simulating the application circuits using circuit simulators, the circuit designers use some process design kits (PDKs) that contains model parameter libraries of component devices to be fabricated in some predetermined advanced semiconductor technologies. It is the job of the modeling engineers to extract model parameters and generate the PDKs for advanced industry-standard models based on characterized device data.
We develop state-of-the-art parameter extraction packages for high quality and highly accurate SPICE models. Our extraction package is user-friendly and highly optimized. Bipolar transistor models (SGP, VBIC and HICUM), MOSFET models (BSIM3, BSIM4 and EKV) and HV MOSFET models (BSIM3/EKV sub-circuit) are chosen to be supported by our parameter extraction package. These industry-standard compact models can be generated very fast and with the highest accuracy required to reliably design complex analog, digital and mixed-signal circuits.
